The road
Cycle AZ 66 rides on open public roads shared with vehicle traffic — this is real Route 66, not a closed circuit. Certified flaggers maintain traffic control and business/driveway access along the full course, from the streets of Kingman out to the high desert toward Valentine. Posted speed limits range from 25 mph through town to 65 mph on the open highway, so ride alert and ride predictably.
